About Me:

I was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, where I live with my wonderful husband and our two pets — Lily the cat and Marty the dog. I'm currently attending Lane Community College, majoring in Journalism and Communications. I’m on track to graduate in June 2025 with an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree and a certificate in Educational Assistance. I’ve been accepted to the University of Oregon, where I plan to continue my journalism studies.

I serve as Editor-in-Chief of The Torch, LCC’s student newspaper, and I am the first student from Lane Community College to be accepted into the Charles Snowden Journalism of Excellence Program for 2025, with a placement at the Columbia Gorge News. I work as an intern reporter and photographer at Eugene Weekly and as an interviewer for The Music Box Media. I’m a proud member of the LCC Honors College Program and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

 I am also an active member of my virtual Toastmasters International club; Word Weavers. And a member of the Willamette Writers.
